SEM Team Leader

We are looking for a self-motivated SEM Team Leader with strong analytical skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will speak fluent English and Spanish. Overall, the candidate will work closely with the SEM Manager and with the SEM Team and will be responsible for planning, implementing and analyzing paid search campaigns across brands and products. She/he will work in line with marketing and business objectives using Google AdWords and Bing Ads mainly and be responsible for delivering customer-focused, profitable multi-category campaigns to agreed targets.

The individual will be an active part of the Marketing team, focused on developing strategies to help optimize one of our projects' visibility and increase the accessibility of websites and apps.

Main Tasks:

  • Identifying growth opportunities, testing hypotheses and scaling winning tests to improve SEM traffic and increase ROI.
  • Delivering performance reports and insights to the PPC Manager and defining campaign actions accordingly
  • Manage and coach a team of highly motivated PPC specialists and get hands-on with campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Addressing and escalating campaign performance issues.
  • Responsible for AB tests, Search Query analysis and keyword mining.
  • Supporting internal sharing of knowledge through training and coaching.
  • Acting as a core team member on various web projects, providing content management and user experience best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on-time and on-budget
  • Work with cross-functional teams, such as data science, project and web development, to create high-quality and relevant ad creatives and landing pages
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising platforms is a plus
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PPC trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve campaign performance and efficiency.
  • Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
