This Client includes the Global Headquarters and a Manufacturing / Shipping Complex for a Fortune 500 Corporation, a Leading Producer in Consumer and Industrial Packaging. This is a High-Profile position that requires excellent Security and Supervisory Experience. 

Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security Site Supervisor .

This is a Temp to Hire Position

This position will be approximately 90 days in training at $23 per hour. After the 90 day training period, the position will convey into an exempt, salaried role as the Account Manager starting at $62,800 annually. This position requires strong supervision experience with our company and reports directly to the current Account Manager. Duties to include rotating among the different posts on all shifts. Prior to promotion to Account Manager the Supervisor performance will be subject to routine evaluation by the AUS Client Manager and demonstrate complete familiarity with AUS and policies and management systems. 

 
Account Manager Qualifications and Skills:

 
SLED Armed Qualified (or able to obtain), Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record and Criminal Background Check

 
Microsoft Office Suite, Winteam, and Payroll Experience a PLUS

 
Strong Demonstrated Supervision and Organizational Skills, Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Strong Customer Service Skills, Knowledge of Electronic Security Systems and Safety Inspections

 
Requires an In-Depth Understanding of Security Operations and Site Layout and an In -Depth Understanding of Allied Universal Policies, Systems, and Procedures

 

 
Core Job Responsibilities

 
  • Client Relationship - Serve as primary point of contact for all security matters and audits. Continually build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
 
2. Security Policy Implementation - Coordinate the implementation and management of client security policies on all site-specific aspects. Promote safety awareness internally and externally throughout the client site.

 

 
3. Incident Response and Compliance - Develop and implement incident response programs, Deliver Security Compliance reports as required by the account.

 

 
4. Team Leadership - Establish and lead Security Working Groups for specialized tasks, Manage day-to-day security schedules, all security personnel and resources

 
5. Technical Oversight - Provide technical leadership across various security platforms: Infrastructure, Access / Badge System, Fire Alarm / Watch System, Network Security at all site posts

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Capably utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
  • Communicates staffing needs to Operation Manager which may include using the Requisition process, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates
  • Assures that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
  • Assures that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate branch or region HR support employees
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
