Job Description

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a locksmith.
* Virgina Locksmith License
* Familiarity with local laws regarding security devices and systems.
* Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES * Strong computer skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and provide guidance.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools, key-cutting machines, and specialized locksmithing equipment.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to coordinate, prioritize and schedule work assignments. PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Must be able to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods
* Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, stretch, kneel, and squat.
* Must be able to perform repetitive tasks or motions for prolonged periods.
* Must have sufficient physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina to complete various tasks. * High noise levels are common with general maintenance. WORK ENVIRONMENT * This role requires work in a non-office setting, outdoor and industrial locations.
* Work requires exposure to heat/cold, noise, dust, mist, and/or fumes.
* Required the ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
* We require wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, fall protection harness, protective-toe footwear, gloves, hard hat, and hearing protection.
* Work hazards include electrical shock, confined spaces, and noise hazards.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS * Must possess a valid driver's license
* Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) per contract.
* May need to acquire SECRET clearance
* Must complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.
* Must be proficient with the English Language per contract.
