• Location: Freeport, IL 61032 (Illinois healthcare job)\n
• Facility Setting: Acute Care – Telemetry Unit (18 beds)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
• Start Date: November 24, 2025\n
• End Date: February 23, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (1900-0730)\n
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
• Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation\n
• Orientation: 2 shifts (12 hours each)\n
• Charting System: Meditech\n
• Scrub Color: Any color\n

\n\nTelemetry Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Illinois RN license (required for submission)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (2+ years preferred)\n
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required for telemetry nursing jobs)\n
• Phlebotomy skills preferred\n
• Experience with post-cath lab recovery (femoral/radial) and stroke care highly valued\n
• Proficiency with cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Heparin)\n
• Ability to float to ICU, Med/Surg, and ER within scope as needed\n
• Disclosure of all previous employment at any FHN Memorial location required\n

\n\nTelemetry RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver direct patient care for telemetry patients, including those with stroke, CHF, ACS, CAD, arrhythmias, and post-heart cath recovery\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; sign off on telemetry strips\n
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips per clinical protocol\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including CNAs and monitor techs\n
• Float to ICU, Med/Surg, and ER as required within nursing scope\n
• Document patient care and assessments accurately in Meditech EHR\n
• Participate in department orientation and ongoing clinical training\n
