\n\nJob Details:
\n• Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required
\n• Patient ratios range from 1-4 depending on acuity for days, nights, and weekends
\n• 24 hours of orientation provided
\n• One pre-approved time off request allowed
\n• Must have 1 year of experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NRP and STABLE
\n• Must be comfortable with prison population as this is a public hospital where incarcerated patients may be present
\n• Must have experience with L&D and willingness to float to other units as needed
\n• Will assist with cross-training efforts for LDRP model transition
\n• May provide coverage for Delivery/Maternity units during training periods
\n• Can be floated to any unit of the hospital as a sitter if needed
\n• Experience attending deliveries preferred; if no experience, must be willing to train
\n• First-time travelers must have strong experience as baby nurse at deliveries
\n• Must be comfortable being the only caregiver during emergencies while other nurse cares for nursery babies
\n• Care for NICU level II patients, 32 weeks and above in combined NICU and well-baby nursery
\n• Daily census of 6 patients in 14-room, 14-bed unit with two nurses on duty at any given time
