Job Description

A K-12 school in Richlands, NC is seeking qualified Sign Language Interpreters to support students in a 1:1 setting. This contract position spans the school year and offers multiple openings with caseloads assigned according to experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective one-on-one sign language interpretation to students
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff in classroom and school settings
• Support academic and social development of students through clear and accurate interpretation
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure accessibility

Qualifications:

• Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter with a preferred EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (other scores will be considered)
• Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload tailored to your level of experience
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
