As a Security Officer – Manufacturing Site Patrol - Part Time in Fernley, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and teamwork. This is a primarily unarmed, driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors as required by site-specific policies.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is preferred for primarily driving posts.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
