Hiring Shipping/Receiving Worker

Pay Rate: $22.00
Work Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

What’s a typical day as a Shipping/Receiving Worker ? You’ll be:
The duties for this role include: unload semi-trucks, weigh items, pick and pack according to needs (break down a box of parts from 100 to 20 pieces depending on customer need). Use a scanner, computer, print labels. Use a stand up and sit down forklift.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Demonstrate close attention to detail to achieve accuracy in tasks
- Are physically agile and able to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift and lift/maneuver 50 lbs.
- Have the ability to work cohesively with a diverse range of people
- Have a flexible attitude towards job duties and can perform a variety of tasks upon request
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Distribution or related field, previous shipping experience, forklift experience, and great attendance.
- Knowledge of packing procedures and standard warehouse operating procedures, also picking order procedures.
