Mb Staffing Services is seeking the experience of a Property Manager to support our client in Glenarden MD.
This is a professional and technical position responsible for determining the eligibility, placement, admissions, and continued occupancy of applicants/tenants who qualify for public housing.
The primary responsibilities of this position are: (1) to determine the eligibility of applicants and tenants and placement of tenants to low and moderate-income housing programs; (2) to maintain and update an information system on applicants; (3) to perform required recertification of tenant income and rent, and to communicate these matters with tenants; (4) assist in the selection process of eligible applicants for low-income housing and; (5) implement a system to orient the selected applicants to (a) the rules and regulations of the Housing Authority , (b) perform diagnostic interviews and (c) orient the applicant to their new unit and community.
Work is performed with latitude for independent judgment in normal work situations and within the limits of established policies and procedures. Work is reviewed through observation of effectiveness of operations and from reports.
It is also a highly transactional secretarial and general office work position. An employee in this class is usually assigned to key administrators within the Housing Authority. Employees in this class have considerable latitude for independent action and decision with regard to assigned functions. Direction is normally general in nature and work is reviewed through observation of daily performance.
