We are hiring Chauffeurs who are passionate about safety, customer service, punctuality, communicates well, and possess great skills following directions and anticipating the un-expected. Essential duties and responsibilities are listed below:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Catering to your client's needs by opening doors when on-boarding and de-boarding the vehicle.
Assisting with luggage for airport arrivals and departures.
Responsible for performing baggage claim meet and greets
Responsible for acquiring knowledge of geographical area company operates in.
Responsible for understanding operational protocols at Airports, FBOs, Sea Ports, Convention Centers, Corporate Offices, Concerts, and Hotels - Training will cover this, but one must be able to articulate protocol before executing service alone
Inspecting car or limousine to ensure that it is in good condition at all times.
Ensuring that the car is equipped with the necessary amenities for passenger comfort such as, chilled water, mints, daily periodicals, etc. . .
Skills and Requirements
1. Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely
2. Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
3. Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time
4. Ability to operate mobile devices and company software
5. Ability to perform pre-ride and post ride inspections of vehicles
6. Ability to follow maps and gps devices
7. Ability to work a flexible schedule and be on call
8. Communicates well both orally and written
9. Must have clean driving record
10. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screenings
CDL Driver w/ passenger endorsement is a plus. Shuttle van driving experience is a plus.
Education
Minimum of high school diploma or GED
Living within a 5 mile radius to RDU Airport is a plus. This position also requires the candidate to be very flexible in terms of scheduling. Must be willing to work early mornings, nights, and weekends. In addition, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, know how to operate a GPS system, understand the geographic locations in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill region.
