We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented  Staff Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations across  three entities  for our client. This role involves full ownership of  balance sheets, profit & loss statements , and a wide range of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with  high transaction volume and will collaborate closely with external CPAs and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain  full financials for three entities, including  balance sheets and P&Ls
• Manage  weekly check runs ,  ACH and wire transfers
• Perform  month-end close and  bank reconciliations
• Handle  payroll for approximately 24 employees , including 1099 processing
• Enroll new employees in  benefits programs and manage updates
• Produce accurate and timely  financial statements for internal reporting
• Work with external CPA firms to support  tax filings and compliance
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (highly preferred)
• Proven experience managing  multi-entity accounting
• Strong understanding of  GAAP , financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
• Experience with  payroll processing and  benefits administration
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
