\nIf you’re looking for a permanent Offset Press Operator role, look no further! Kelly, in partnership with a large warehousing organization, is looking for an Offset Press Operator in Sandston, VA ! Our client is growing and adding skilled technicians to their existing maintenance team!

\nThis is a direct hire Offset Press Operator position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

\n Position Information:
\n• Perform machine make-ready procedures, loading plates, ink, coating, and board to start each production cycle.
\n• Control and adjust machine functions and settings, including speed, ink, and water levels, to ensure optimal operation.
\n• Verify raw materials against job docket specifications, inspect printed sheets for quality, and document production and quality issues.
\n• Conduct regular cleaning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to maintain press performance and appearance.
\n• Maintain accurate records and logs for production, quality, approved, and defective units.
\n• Assist with press operation during Feeder Operator breaks and perform other assigned duties as needed.
\n
\n Required Experience:
\n• High school diploma or GED equivalent
\n• 1-2 years working with wide web/large format offset printing press required
\n• Demonstrate leadership and initiative while effectively working as part of a team
\n• Strong written and oral communication skills
\n• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts including overtime and weekend work as scheduled
