Inpatient surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, ear/nose/throat, cranial facial and plastic surgery, urology, and trauma patients. Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs nursing tasks for which he/she has been trained and has demonstrated competency through a skills checklist. Senior level status in any nursing program required. Ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions relating to basic patient care and transport.
