Remote Mortgage Loan Officer – Must be Licensed in OH, FL, or AL

CX Mortgage is a growing mortgage brokerage dedicated to offering clients more choices, competitive rates, and personalized loan solutions. As a broker, we partner with multiple wholesale lenders to provide a full suite of products — from conventional and government loans to Non-QM, investor, and commercial financing.

We are looking for motivated and entrepreneurial Loan Officers who want to maximize their earnings and run their business with the flexibility of a broker platform.

Position Overview

As a Commission-Only Loan Officer , you will originate mortgage loans and leverage our extensive lender network to structure the best solutions for your clients. This is not a salaried position — instead, you’ll enjoy high commission splits, uncapped income, and full control over your pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage residential and/or commercial mortgage loans.

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, investors, and business partners.

• Collect borrower documentation and ensure file accuracy and compliance.

• Evaluate credit, assets, and income to structure loan scenarios.

• Work directly with our processing team to move loans efficiently to closing.

• Stay up to date with lender guidelines, rates, and product offerings.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license (required).

• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience (preferred, but open to strong self-starters).

• Knowledge of loan products including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, Non-QM, and DSCR.

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset — motivated by commissions and independence.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

• Ability to manage your own pipeline in a fast-moving environment.
