Encova Insurance will have a need for an Intern, Actuarial (reserving) for our Columbus, Ohio corporate office. This is a full-time summer internship for summer 2026 and will require someone who can work at least 40 hours per week. Start and end dates will be based on availability and business need. You will work a hybrid schedule with days in office each week. Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
Pay=$22.00 per hour

As an intern in our Actuarial division (reserving), you'll work side-by-side with experienced actuaries who will help translate your classroom knowledge into a strong, practical foundation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong mathematical and technical aptitude
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
* Sophomore and junior level candidates preferred
* One to two actuarial exams desired
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Must be actively enrolled and pursuing a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or data science
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
*Must be detailed oriented
*Good communication skills
