ASSESSMENT FACTORS

With no supervision, completes work, meets priorities, and achieves results based on the organization’s goals and objectives. Employs breadth and depth of knowledge in national or regional history of military, force structure, equipment, modernization, readiness, and sustainability to appraise and critique significant military capabilities information and analyses; authors/co-authors assessments and studies that emphasize new trends and developments and updates appropriate databases. Makes informed decisions about work priorities to ensure accurate completion of assignments and projects, and makes adjustments as required. Anticipates problems and obstacles associated with moderately complex projects and proactively develops creative solutions to address them prior to implementation. Identifies ways to facilitate cooperation and knowledge sharing across organizations to advance projects and goals.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS

Completion of Professional Analyst Career Education (PACE) (or equivalent analytic training) and Certified DoD All-Source Analyst 1 (CDASA-1). Demonstrates proficiency, knowledge, and experience implementing IC/DIA analytic tradecraft standards, the DI product line, and DIA analytic publication process.
