We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing painting operations, ensuring high-quality finishes, and leading a team of painters to achieve production goals. • Lead and supervise a team of industrial painters, providing guidance and support.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
• Mix and match paint colors to meet project specifications.
• Apply paint using various techniques, including spray, brush, and roller methods.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Train new team members on painting techniques and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely project completion.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial painting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with industrial painting equipment and tools.

Salary info:

$24 - $27 / hr
