Overview Gap Inc. Sr. Analyst, Finance role supporting Gap Inc. Global Technology Solutions (GTS) teams. This position is a key contributor to the monthly forecasting process, variance analysis, and monthly close activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with business partners and stakeholders to drive strategic insights and ensure accurate reflection of financial activities. What You'll Do Lead and support the development of the monthly financial forecast. Analyze actual results versus forecast and prior periods, identifying key drivers and variances. Collaborate with business partners to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and refine projections. Provide detailed explanations for variances against forecast, budget, and prior periods. Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process. Review contracts and provide financial guidance and forecast implications. Highlight trends, risks, and cost optimization opportunities to leadership. Who You Are Comprehensive understanding of financial statements including balance sheets and general ledgers, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and the entire financial close process. High level of accountability and ability to influence others while maintaining key relationships in the business. High level of emotional intelligence and ability to work under strict deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Suite; strong Excel skills to manage large data sets. Ability to anticipate operational/program issues and develop preventative measures. Benefits At Gap Inc.
