Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Fresco AI is building the next-generation AI assistant for the $12T construction industry. Backed by Y Combinator, SignalFire, and Bessemer Venture Partners, we’re working with top national and Bay Area general contractors to streamline how field teams access and act on information from project documents. We’re looking for a full-time Software Engineer to join us in our San Francisco office. You’ll be honing our tech and solving domain-specific problems that don’t yet have solutions. What You’ll Do Identify and fix gaps or issues in our system based on data from actual users Talk to users about their issues and solve them the same day Innovate ways to improve our tech based on the latest in AI Work directly with the CTO to shape long-term product vision Ship Our Stack We use React + TypeScript on the frontend We use NextJS + TypeScript on the backend We have a mobile app built on Expo We believe that getting the data model right will let the rest of the code flow easily We create pull requests for all code changes for visibility, but don’t require code review Who You Are A recent grad to mid-career professional ready to hustle You’ve shipped platforms with AI both in and out of your career Curious about construction Low ego Why Fresco Work directly with leadership — our CEO and CTO sit a desk over Already being used by leading general contractors Backed by top VCs like Y Combinator, SignalFire, and Bessemer Venture Partners Join a small team where your work has immediate impact In-person culture — fast decision-making, tight feedback loops, and no red tape Schedule: 8am–6pm, Monday through Friday, in our SF office.
