Position Overview Join our dynamic GBP Division as an Entry-Level Structural Packaging Designer! You will collaborate closely with the Design Manager to create innovative packaging solutions that meet customer requirements. Responsibilities Utilize TOPS or CAPE software to determine optimal size, materials, and palletization options. Design and prototype sample layouts using Artios CAD to fulfill customer requests. Cut prototype samples efficiently with a Kongsberg cutting table. Engage in daily communication with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives regarding design projects and requests. Gain expertise in corrugated packaging and graphics. Create specifications for customer and production approval. Maintain and update the online sample request form to track design project statuses and deadlines. Assist in quoting, ordering, and checking in tooling for production use. Provide support to internal departments including Customer Service, Estimating, and Production. Qualifications A degree in Packaging Design or relevant experience. Ability to assist customers effectively throughout the design process. Proficiency in MS software applications, with a preference for Artios CAD. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with customers and team members. Strong math skills, particularly with fractions and decimals.
