Compensation: $125,000 – $175,000 annually (DOE + bonuses)

BBSI is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm seeking an Employment Attorney to join their growing team in Temecula, California. The firm partners with California employers to provide strategic legal counsel, protect against risk, and support long-term business success. Key Responsibilities

· Advise and represent California employers in matters involving state labor and employment laws.

· Handle litigation matters including court appearances, mediations, and depositions.

· Draft and customize employment agreements, policies, and compliance documentation.

· Lead legal strategy and provide counsel with the support of a dedicated team.

· Manage a reasonable caseload that focuses on quality over excessive billable hours.

· Billable Expectation: Full-time attorneys target 1,450 billed and collected hours annually. Origination is not required but is rewarded.

Qualifications

· Active member of the California Bar in good standing.

· Minimum of 2 years of California employment law litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).

· Strong understanding of state employment law; federal experience is a plus.

· Ethical, driven, and motivated to provide exceptional client service.

· Collaborative and proactive with a growth mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

· Salary: $125,000–$150,000 DOE, plus bonuses and incentives (OTE up to $175,000).

· Schedule: Full-time with part-time options available for qualified candidates.
