Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Director of Provider Recruiting and Contracting.

 

The Director of Provider Recruiting and Contracting plays a pivotal role in driving network expansion and regional growth. This leader develops and executes strategies to strengthen the provider network while cultivating strong relationships with current and prospective providers. Leveraging deep industry knowledge, the Director anticipates market needs, evaluates provider business models, and oversees strategic sourcing initiatives, including dental network growth, conferences, tradeshows, and specialized programs such as military recruitment, alumni engagement, and referral development. A key focus of the role is using technology, data, automation, and emerging tools to enhance outreach, streamline operations, and support sustainable, scalable growth 

 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Provide strategic leadership to Regional Managers and the sourcing team, ensuring an optimized, high-performing provider network across all programs and lines of business. 
  • Develop and execute network growth and accessibility strategies aligned with market conditions, program needs, and organizational priorities, while collaborating closely with Vendor Business Partners, Regional and National leadership. 
  • Evaluate, design, and implement efficient processes; leveraging technology, automation, data strategies, and KPIs; to drive continuous improvement, cost control, and scalable operational performance. 
  • Build, strengthen, and manage strategic provider relationships to enhance network performance, support customer needs, and drive organizational growth. 
  • Partner with executive and cross-functional leaders to identify issues, share insights, and align opportunities that advance strategic objectives and improve provider experience. 
  • Lead ongoing improvements to provider contracting workflows, work instructions, tools, and supporting materials to ensure clarity, compliance, and efficiency. 
  • Guide the team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing providers and accounts through proactive, consistent, and in-person communication. 
  • Create and execute targeted retention strategies for regional accounts and sourcing initiatives. 
  • Develop strategic, market-competitive payment models that reward provider performance and support organizational objectives. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferably in a healthcare related field or equivalent experience/combined education w/ 14 years of experience leading teams and projects
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in provider recruitment
  • Experience in organizational development, change management, and facilitating teamwork 
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience recruiting providers in the occupational health or workers’ compensation space. 

Additional Information:   

  • Travel requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time or as needed

This role may fall under the Service Contract Act (SCA), a federal law which provides for a U.S. Department of Labor-prescribed minimum prevailing rate of pay and certain benefit levels.
