JOB DESCRIPTION
Join our dynamic team as a Designer/Drafter. The Designer/Drafter role is responsible for creating customer assembly drawings, which could include developing 3D models. This role requires communication with many different functions. The Designer/Drafter will be responsible to accurately perform job-related tasks to complete full 3D assembly models.
Who you are: You identify and seize new opportunities! You consult diverse resources and ask more questions. You take on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
In this role, you will need: \n - Associate's degree in drafting/design with mechanical design experience using CAD software or an equivalent three years' experience
\n - Mechanical aptitude and visualization skills
\n - Effective communication skills
\n - Demonstrated attention to detail and regard for quality
\n - Skill using Microsoft Office applications is required, especially Microsoft Excel
\n - Fundamental understanding and ability to apply ANSI Y14 Dimensioning standards
\n - Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Experience & Skills: \n - Mechanical design experience or coursework
\n - File management software experience (PLM application)
\n - Experience with data management applications such as PDM
\n - Experience using SolidWorks software
\n
