FDY, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to operated the Bojangles (Concourse B) in the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the GM in the overall management of the restaurant and for providing a strong management presence in the GM's absence. In addition, the Assistant GM provides leadership and coaching to the employees to generate an atmosphere where expectation of customer service is exceeded. Developing proactive methods to control cash flow, generate revenue growth and successfully manage food cost, labor cost and other operating expenses is a main component of the Assistant GM.

PERFORMANCE

• Must be able to open and close shifts without supervision
• Uphold standards and take corrective action immediately when standards are not met
• Impower team to maintain great customer service
• Understand how quality service and cleanliness impact sales
• Become knowledgeable of all systems to include sales, labor, profit & loss, etc.
• Interview and assist with selecting crew
• Ensure all employees complete all required training modules
• Assist with employee performance reviews
• Assist with inventory and truck orders as needed
• Uphold all safety and security standards
• Lead by example, motivate crew, take initiative and hold others and self-accountable.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Organized, ability to manage and coach staff
• Great communication skills
• Professional
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and lead team in a fast-paced environment
• 2-3 years experience in retail food and/or quick-serv restaurant
• Servsafe certifies
• Basic computer skills (Windows/Microsoft Office) Restaurant 365 helpful
