Accounting Manager
Hybrid | Lancaster, OH
Salary: $90,000 – $105,000
A well-established regional nonprofit organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team, filling a key leadership role due to an internal promotion. This full-time position is hybrid (on-site in Lancaster, OH, with flexibility) following a brief probationary period.

Oversee daily accounting operations and lead a team of 4 accounting professionals
Manage and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports
Ensure accuracy of general ledger, reconciliations, and intercompany financials
Support internal and external audits; maintain and enforce internal controls
Contribute to forecasting, financial planning, and process improvement initiatives
Mentor and train team members to support department goals and professional development
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Proven experience preparing financial statements and managing general ledger functions
Familiarity with audit procedures and financial compliance
Previous supervisory or management experience is strongly preferred
CPA (active, inactive, or in progress) is a plus
Industry experience in nonprofit, utilities, or manufacturing is a plus
